FREQUENCY RESPONSE

FENICE 20a-Modified

Above we see the frequency response of the Fenice 20a amp board with slight modifications. On this board the stock 1uF SMD input caps were replaced with generic 2.2uF film cap. The output filter was altered slightly and new inductors installed.

With this amp, we see response goes down below 20 Hz, but high end filter peaking is about an octave below the other amps. This may be due to Zobel issues or the component values used.
Again, we see high end roll-off on a 4 ohm load, though the dip is slight.
