Bass Response |
| The Sonic Impact version of the Tripath amp is known to be bass shy. This can be measured. Below you will find a graph of the bass response below 200 Hz. This graph was plotted at 1 watt RMS into 8 ohms. I charted this plot by hand. For a real professional measurement, see here. |

| This plot does not change much over the power range of the amp. At maximum "clean" power (4.5 watts RMS) response is down 10.5 dB at 20Hz. Differing loads do not seem to affect bass response. 4, 8 and 16 ohms were tested. |
